
The spacious dining room is the ideal setting for unhurried meals.
The kitchens are personally run by the proprietor who has earned
a reputation for serving 'only the best' and believes good shopping
is the key to good cooking.
Much effort is put into obtaining prime produce such as Farmhouse
Cheeses, locally grown vegetables, fresh fish, the best cuts of
locally reared meat and non-intensively reared poultry. The style
of cooking is modern English with a Mediterranean bias, even so,
dinner usually ends with at least one good old-fashioned British
pudding.
Breakfast is traditional English in the proper sense, with plenty
of choice. Afternoon Tea offers lots of teatime favourites including
scones with jam and cream. Dinner is the perfect end to the day
with 5 courses on offer with no supplements for cheese, coffee or
chocolates.
Midday meals are not served, but packed lunches of your choice
are always offered.
